The Argumentative Nature of the Educational Influential Discourse in the Story of Moses and Al-Khidr (Peace Be Upon Them(

Abstract

There is no doubt that the prophets and messengers are the best of creation on Earth due to the noble qualities they possessed, including high morals, virtues, and exemplary traits in dealing with their people to reform their conditions and guide them to the right path. They served as teachers, guides, and mentors, and the Quran is filled with examples that emphasize this role.

This study will focus on the debates between prophets and their people, analyzing their rhetorical and argumentative methods. Specifically, it will examine the story of  Moses and Al-Khadir, peace be upon them, highlighting its rhetorical and educational influence through various methodological tools.

The research will analyze key Quranic passages, exploring their argumentative techniques, linguistic structures, and stylistic elements to uncover their meanings and interpretations. Since Quranic discourse incorporates multiple layers of knowledge, this study aims to decode its messages and understand its profound significance.
